EHS’s Continuing Community Outreach

EHSpic

Efficient Home Solutions doesn’t just offer heating and air conditioning services to homes and residences, they’re committed to giving back in the communities where they live and work all throughout Dallas.

Through their work with Leadership Plano, EHS was able to make tremendous contributions to the Plano and Collin County communities in 2012.

Founded in 1983 by the Plano Chamber of Commerce, Leadership Plano is dedicated to educating, developing and empowering current and future leaders for the community and motivating them to serve civic, charitable and business organizations.

Leadership Plano’s Class 29, which included EHS’s Karen Rivera, undertook the renovation of The Assistance Center of Collin County’s lobby and welcome center as their class project.

Since 1977, it’s been the ACCC’s mission to fight area homelessness, hunger and poverty by providing various programs to Collin County’s individuals and families affected by financial crisis.

Thanks to the Class 29’s efforts and furniture and décor donated by EHS, the ACCC lobby and welcome center update was quickly completed.

EHS’s work with the ACCC didn’t end with Leadership Plano project – EHS provided service for the center’s three HVAC systems as well. Putting customer care first and foremost, EHS also offered any supplies and labor required to maintain those systems through summer and winter of last year.

Looking to build off its successful 2012 with the ACCC, EHS is continuing to provide goods and services to the charity through 2013.

Already this year, EHS presented the group with labor, décor and table settings for the luncheon honoring their founder, Senator Florence Shapiro, on Wednesday, Jan. 23. Additionally, EHS is contributing furnishings to the ACCC’s welcome center as they dedicate the space to Senator Shapiro.
